Day 157.  You can also become blind by chemical burn to the right eye.  Okay, maybe not blind, but it “effing HURTS” according to my patient with the super red, on FIRE eye after she accidentally got some weird contact cleaning solution in it that’s mostly hydrogen peroxide.  Yow-sa.  This lady was a champ, able to laugh at herself and tolerate 1000 mL normal saline irrigation via morgan lens.  Because this card included a metaphor about sight, she just had to have it.  And each day sure is a different miracle. Day 2 of 6 in a row was definitely a change from previous.  Yesterday was easy and no patients.  Today was packed with sickies and a full waiting room.  Tomorrow:  project begin again.  Ready, GO.
