Truths & Love

Day 148. Victoria!!!  Today I FINALLY saw my friend Victoria for the first time in months. Last summer Victoria and I were mat neighbors practically every day.  We would practice next to each other, go to the beach together, get Slurpees, pick blueberries, it was freaking adorable.  Then, between job changes and school semester class changes and whatever else, we went months without seeing each other.  This was sad, but thanks to Facebook and Tumblr, I didn’t feel too disconnected from Victoria.  Today I got to thinking about the first day we “officially” met, where I walked into class and Victoria said “come practice next to ME!” and it was history.  Then I was entertained by a hilarious story where Victoria got pulled over, but the police officer let her off because she recognized her as a fellow Funky Buddha.  That police officer was Connie, my fellow teacher trainee!  Kinda funny how I had been missing Victoria for the last few months and seeing a whole lot of Connie instead.  I love the universe.  Thanks, Victoria, for shining your light.  I am so grateful I got to see your beautiful smile today!
