Truths & Love

Day 140. Face your fears. Why? Cos when you live from love and not fear you shine. This definitely includes teaching your first yoga class and public speaking. Tonight, I co-taught my first yoga class at the Buddha and gave a PechaKucha presentation. It felt awesome. And I’m not really sure why either?  Prolly cos I was letting my light shine and giving others permission to do the same.  I was scared too.  For both.  Like, big time. Nervous tummy and butterflies and diarrhea scared.  Yeah, I said it.  But once I actually stepped into the moment, that was it.  Fears melted and something took over.  The words flowed from my lips and I couldn’t stop smiling.  And then it was over.  A couple sun salutations and 400 seconds later, That was it.  Why was I so scared?  I was made to do this.  My whole life has led me up to this point.  I gave tonight’s card to Ann and Dave.  Super cute couple.  They were big fans of my speech and big fans of this Mandela quote.  ”People tell us we shine when we’re together!”  So that was it.  This card is for them and all the light shiners who have sent me love along the way.  I couldn’t have done with without you.
