Truths & Love

Day 138.  Everything I learn through yoga and teacher training applies to all areas of my life.  Gifting quote cards is no exception.  Lesson 1,000,001:  it’s not about you, it’s about them.  Gifting quote cards is not about me.  Sure it feels good and makes me happy, but the feeling/love/inquiry it brings out in the recipient is the treasure.  And most times I never get to know or see that.  Today was no exception.  Day 3 of teacher training and the day before Day 1 of 40 Days to Personal Revolution, I gave this card to a fellow revolutionary, Katie, who was sitting next to me.  I’m pretty sure I practiced next to Katie the first day she ever came to the Funky Buddha.  Last week, she came up to me after she found out I was undergoing teacher training, and was sooooooooo excited and happy for me.  It was huge.  Genuine.  Big SMILES.  IT SEEMS this card encompasses some things yoga has made me realize.  I shared it with Katie and she started crying and thanked me.  It also SEEMS that this little sheet of paper is covered with words she identifies with too.  :)
